YouTube Shadowban Checker

Estimate whether a channel's content is being suppressed in search and recommendations — with a confidence score and explicit caveats, not a certitude.

We evaluate likely suppression patterns using public signals, not an internal YouTube status flag.

How this works

YouTube does not expose a public shadowban flag. This tool instead looks for a pattern of suppression signals that are visible to the public: weak recommendation velocity, sudden declines in distribution, and a mismatch between uploads and sustained search performance.

The score is a directional estimate based on the evidence available in public data. It cannot prove that YouTube has formally shadowbanned a channel, and the methodology is disclosed to keep the estimate honest and useful rather than overconfident.

Because this is a signal-based estimate, we timestamp every result so users can see exactly when the last verification happened and decide how much weight to assign it.
